Making art is a dynamic process that helps develop skills through experimentation and creative problem-solving. It involves making choices about materials, techniques, and ideas, which fosters personal growth and artistic voice. Individuals will explore freedom of expression to find their individuality and convey unique perspectives.

Creating and learning about new artists allows individuals to gain fresh inspiration and explore diverse artistic styles and perspectives. Through choice-based art, they have the freedom to experiment with materials and techniques that resonate with them personally, helping to develop their unique creative voice and strengthen their skills. This approach encourages independent thinking and a deeper connection to the artistic process.

Making art is important for the development of young minds. Visual arts fosters artistic expression, enhances fine and gross motor skills, allows for experimenting and discovering, use of imagination, problem solving, critical thinking, helps destress and reduce anxiety, space to get messy and have fun!
