


Kinder-3rd grade: Colorful Summer Dreams
Join friends for a journey into the enchanting realm of imagination, play, experimenting and creating. Enjoy opportunities to learn about artists, new art forms and techniques. Come celebrate the possibilities and where your imagination can take you to fun places!
Who: Kinergarteners-3rd graders
When: 1st Session: Monday June 2, 9, 16 ,23, from 9:30-11:30a.m.
2nd Session: July 7, 14, 21, 28 at 9:30-11:30a.m.
Where: Historic Lowell School, Rm. 1
What: Artists will be working on sewing, drawing/painting techniques and printingmaking. Each idividual will also have create a sketchbook to practice different techniques, learn about the elements and principles of design and a space to freely express themselves.
Why: Making art is important for the development of young minds. Visual arts fosters artistic expression, enhances fine and gross motor skills, allows for experimenting and discovering, use of imagination, problem solving, critical thinking, helps destress and reduce anxiety, space to get messy and have fun!
What to bring: Water bottle and a snack
This is a drop off class. If you would like to check out your childs art, you may see what they are working on at the end of class There will have an art exhibition the last day of class.
This class requires a minimum enrollment of 6 children in order to take place. Tell your friends.
